Angels and Airwaves rocks my socks.
What a day we had today.
Class was the same, as usual. Fell asleep towards the end of the session. This teacher really dunno how to spice things up and grab the student's attention. If only every teachers' like the Media Studies one. By far, she's the best.
Played soccer after class. It's been so damn long since i've played soccer. It's hot and tiring, but it's also fun. Jonathan brought all his camera gear to take some shots. Still dun have it with me. Shall get it from him tomorrow. After the soccer match, we all headed over to the gym for a quick wash-up/shower. Never knew the place was so nice. Like what Dan said, we can now camp in skool. Then we all headed to the Macs nearby for our late lunch. Ate and soccer talk.
Went to jio Jiewei to billiard with me. Went to Far East and played our hearts out. As usual, got trashed by him again. Seemed to get stuck with all the trick shots. At least i managed to improve on the playing part.
Wanted to take the bus home but the cab is so tempting. Plus i was dead tired. Haha.
Watched Jackass the Movie. Fucking hilarious! Ok, hilarious for us but maybe not for those aged 40 and above. All the pranks and all the stunts are really incredibly retarded and funny.
Read Hyde's blog just now and saw the comments posted by Dianna. Since some girls also mentioned bout this, im gonna be an extra and state my point of view.
There's this very good Hokkien saying that i reguarly hear my parents and grandparents say. Zi kuan bee chi ba ban lang. Direct translation: One kind of rice feeds a millions of people. What does this means? It means that there are millions of people living on this little place called Earth. That being said, different people have different views, thoughts, attitude, characteristics, personalities, culture background so on and so forth. So for example, statements like "All guys are jerks cause they want sex" or "All girls are gold diggers." cant be true.
First of all, everyone is different. So how can "all" be used in this context? You may say majority. Again, majority means a large group. Not everyone. It's too stereotype to classify everyone like that.
Gotta give and take in life.
Wow, have been webcamming with my family overseas for over 2 hours now. HAHA.
